Odoo ↔ shop floor

# Odoo UNS Connector

Connects Odoo Manufacturing to the datahub: manufacturing orders and operations go to the shop floor; progress, time and material usage come back.

Works with Odoo 19 and later

The difference

## What it costs when systems do not work together

Every manual step between two systems takes time, and every rekeyed entry is a chance for an error.

### Without the integration

- Times and quantities are rekeyed after the fact
- Job costing runs on estimates
- Odoo and the shop floor drift apart

### With Odoo UNS Connector

- Production engineering and the shop floor work from the same orders
- Job costing on measured time instead of estimates
- Stock in Odoo matches actual usage

Why

A manufacturing order in Odoo says what needs to be made, but what happens on the shop floor sits in machines, MES and terminals. Times and quantities then get rekeyed after the fact, and job costing runs on estimates. The Odoo UNS Connector takes orders through the datahub to the shop floor and checks reported time, progress and material usage before booking them in Odoo. Each order in Odoo then carries the measured times and the actual usage.

How it flows

## Order changes go to the datahub; shop-floor reports are checked and recorded in Odoo.

Progress, time and material usage · Odoo · Datahub · Machines · Sensors · MES · Terminals

In detail

## What goes back and forth

Each integration is a template. The exchange is matched to the company’s requirements wherever possible.

### What it exchanges

- Manufacturing orders and operations: from Odoo to the shop floor
- Progress and quantity completed: from MES or terminal to Odoo
- Measured times and material usage: from the shop floor to Odoo
- Stock levels and adjustments: to Odoo

### What it can do

- No data lost when the connection drops
- No duplicate bookings when a report is repeated
- Set per operation which system may report back

How it works

## From first call to a running integration

Three steps, with a fixed price up front where possible.

### 01 Fit check

The integration is checked against the company’s systems. Where possible, the price is fixed up front.

### 02 Configuration

On the company’s own codes and workstations, tested with real orders.

### 03 Support

Support keeps the integration running when a vendor changes something.
